Changing Your Benefits
The elections you make stay in effect through December 31. You can’t change benefits mid-year unless you have a qualifying life event.
You have 30 days from the event to make a change in ADP: go to Myself > Benefits > Enrollments and select the event.
You will need documentation that shows the date of the event.
Qualifying life events and the documentation you need
| Qualified Life Event (QLE) | Documentation Needed |

| Marriage | Copy of marriage certificate |
| Divorce/Legal Separation | Copy of divorce decree |
| Death | Copy of death certificate |
| Birth or adoption | Copy of birth certificate or copy of legal adoption papers |
| Dependent Gains/Loses other coverage | Document from employer or insurance company indicating specific date that other coverage was gained or lost |
